The El Paso Scorpions hosted the All Saints Day Rugby Tournament in Anthony, NM. It was located at Chamberino Pitch which was donated to the El Paso Scorpions by Dr. Bob Nichols.

It was a great day of rugby. 6 men's teams competed for title of All Saints Day Rugby Tournament Champions. Teams included were the Las Vegas NM Vatos, Santa Fe Brujos, Las Cruces Horny Toads, NMSU Chiles, El Paso United, and the El Paso Scorpions.

The El Paso Scorpions came out victorious in the first two matches by winning both games by over 40 points. This allowed them to face the Las Vegas NM Vatos in the finals. Solid rugby was played by both teams and that was showed by the halftime score of 7-7. In the 2nd half, the Scorpions pushed their level of play even higher and were able to defeat the visiting team by a final score of 21-7. El Paso scorpions are your All Saints Day Rugby Tournament Champs!

Once the tournament was over, the top 3 teams of the tournament accepted their awards and all teams enjoyed a fun social at Chamberino Field. Here all teams gathered and showed appreciation for the brotherhood that comes with the game of rugby.

Next week the Scorpions visit the NMSU Chiles on their home field in Las Cruces, NM.
